Memorial Day holiday

Memorial Day marks the beginning of Summer! DISCOVER STAFFING will be closed on Monday, May 28th. Time sheets are due no later than Noon on Tuesday, May 29th. Paychecks will be available on Thursday, May 31st.

Remember, to qualify for holiday pay you must have worked 1200 career hours. You must work a minimum of 24 hours during the holiday work week and work the scheduled day before and after.

After 8 years with DISCOVER STAFFING, Laura LaVoie is leaving and transitioning her career to be a Freelance Writer. Upcoming projects include blogging for a British beer website, SEO writing, and articles on simple living. She’s moving into a tiny house she built in the mountains near Asheville, North Carolina. Meet DEB Mc CAGG! She joins our team with over ten years of experience in recruiting and staffing. While she specialized in commercial staffing (office, administrative, light industrial and manufacturing), she has extensive experience in telecom, technical/IT, finance & accounting, as well as  government agencies.  Deb has a solid knowledge of the recruiting and staffing process, she has an aptitude for matching candidates to job assignments, and she is passionate about  customer service.   We are excited to have Deb’s sense of humor, her business savvy and her broad range of experience in our office.   In her spare time, she enjoys deep sea fishing and baking any type of sweets!    We know you will enjoy working with her.
